1X: the hand
On 9 July 2026 1X described the tendon hand for Neo. 25 degrees of freedom. 22 in the fingers and palm. 3 in the wrist. Tendon drive. Motors in the forearm. Position ±0.2 mm.
The company shows grapes, a cable, a house. Not an operating theatre. Anyone who turns the hand into surgery puts a demo in a room the source does not name.
Xiaomi: the cycle
Xiaomi trained a humanoid on its own car line. Public figures: months of training, one station, a cycle around 76 seconds, a rising hit rate on nuts and panels.
That is a job inside the house. Not a sale to a third party. Not proof the station no longer needs a person.
Figure: the thousand

Mass unemployment. A date. A replacement already booked across a country.
Gates warns about the shape. The hall writes the shape in cycle time. Both can be true. They are not the same item.
What it actually means
The second sits in the hand. The hour sits in the station that no longer needs a witness. In 2026 those are single stations and plans. Not a country without a roster.
